Face Yoga exercises

Effective face yoga for reducing forehead and crow’s feet wrinkles at home.

Giảm nếp nhăn trán - Face Yoga

Forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet are among the earliest signs of aging, largely due to expressive habits (frowning, raising the forehead) repeated over the years. The good news is: you can soothe and prevent them with Face Yoga exercises for the forehead. Let’s practice together with Coach Mai Linh.

Why does the forehead have wrinkles — and how can Face Yoga help?

The forehead muscle (frontalis) contracts every time you raise your eyebrows; over time, along with the loss of collagen in the skin, the folds become more pronounced. Face Yoga helps relax the tense forehead muscles, increase circulation, and raise awareness of expressions — thus soothing dynamic wrinkles and preventing them from forming deeper. This is a natural supportive method that requires patience and proper practice (practicing incorrectly, by frowning too much, can have the opposite effect).

5 exercises to reduce forehead & eye corner wrinkles

Make sure your skin and hands are clean, and apply a little moisturizer to allow your hands to glide smoothly. The movements should be gentle, without pulling the skin.

1. Smooth the forehead

  1. Place your fingers in the center of your forehead.
  2. Gently glide outwards towards the temples, as if “smoothing out” the wrinkles.
  3. Repeat 10–15 times, relaxing the forehead muscles.

  1. Place two index fingers just above your eyebrows.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for forehead wrinkles to fade?

Dynamic wrinkles (from expressions) gradually improve after several weeks to months of consistent practice and reducing frowning; deeper static wrinkles take longer and may not completely disappear.

Can Face Yoga replace Botox?

No. This is a natural method that helps soothe and prevent, but it does not replace medical procedures.
